Preschool KIDS

The Kingdom of Heaven belongs to "such as these"

KIDS church

People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." (Mark 10:13-14)

Our Calvary Kids, ages Preschool to 5 yrs. old children’s group, meets every Sunday right after worship.

The children are taught the love of Christ in a structured environment.

We begin and end each class with prayer, asking them their prayer needs and teaching them to pray for others.

There is a short, age appropriate lesson which includes a coloring page/craft and other materials that help reinforce the lesson.

There is a time for snack which includes water or juice.  (Please let us know if your child has an allergy).  There is also time for music/videos/ and playtime as we try and balance learning with fun.

CalvaryKIDS

Calvary Chapel Lehigh Valley’s teen discipleship is a unique ministry focused on the discipleship of the teens of our church.

KIDS church

Our Calvary Kids School ages 6 to 11 meets every Sunday right after worship. The children are taught about the life of Christ and how Jesus’ life and ministry effects their life.

We begin and end each class with prayer. They are taught an age appropriate lesson which is reinforced with printed material, videos, and fun Bible Based Games.

It is never too early to teach them about the lesson our Lord taught us…to be a servant. To that end, there are opportunities to serve in the church like preparing R.A.K. Paks for those who are in need. R.A.K. stands for Random Acts of Kindness.

We want the youth of our church to understand that we are called to Love God, Love Others, and Serve the World.

OUTREACHministry

When the Lord called me to pastor Calvary Chapel Lehigh Valley He put it on my heart to reach out to the community where He planted us. Our mission field is Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton, the Lehigh Valley. Since that time in 2012, we have reached out to thousands of people in our community.

OUTREACH ministry

When the Lord called me to pastor Calvary Chapel Lehigh Valley He put it on my heart to reach out to the community where He planted us. Our mission field is Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton, the Lehigh Valley. Since that time in 2012 we have reached out the thousands of people in our community. This is a fulfillment of the word that our Lord spoke to me when I first came out here from N.J. That Calvary Chapel Lehigh Valley would minister to many more people than those who come through our doors on a Sunday morning. We believe, that we aren’t called to “Do church,” we are called to “Be the church,” to be the hands and feet of Jesus. To do as James tells us…provide for both the physical and spiritual needs of the people in our community:

If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? (James 2:15-16)

To that end, we have become a Church Without Walls, we take the church to those who can’t get to church. We “Go,” as our Lord commanded us…and bare witness to Him by showing the community the Love of Christ by reaching out to them and loving them as He does!

This is the focus of our ministry:

Christ has no body on earth but yours,

no hands but yours,

no feet but yours.

Yours are the eyes through which

Christ's compassion for the world is to look out;

yours are the feet with which He is to go about doing good;

and yours are the hands with which He is to bless us now.
